Damn, all the people I know of modest income are overjoyed with the bigger tax rebates and fatter pay checks. Exxon is raking in big profits because it has few opportunities to spend its money effectively. All their opportunities are dried up, so now they cash in on a scarce product that is becoming more expensive. In case you have not noticed the top 25% of earners pay ~2/3 of income taxes. When is enough enough? Make John Kerry pay for all his gas guzzling SUV's, jets and energy hog mansions.
