We didn't lose, we quit, thanks to Jane Fonda and her pals. It's too bad those casualties went for nothing, but it wasn't inevitable.

The problem was Kennedy and Johnson didn't tell the real reason why we were there. The real reason was strategic: US National interest in a corner of the globe between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, pressured by some very bad guys in the north.

Do you think we won that one too?
