I really expected better of you.

Funny, I could easily say the same of you, trying to claim that the entirety of the US military is no better than these criminals who committed these atrocities at that prison..

This country has wonderful, decent, honest people in it.

But we're all bad Sarmad, remember?? The majority of the people agree that Saddam should have been overthrown..

Which means they can't be wonderful, decent, and honest people...

And the same can be said of their opinion regarding confronting and defeating Islamic militants....

So how can you say we're decent?

Tell me what have I said that is not said in stronger language by Admiral Zinni ?

Who's Admiral Zinni? The only Zinni I know is a former Marine Corps General.. And the Former Centcom Commander..

And I recall Zinni agreeing that Saddam likely was continuing to violate the UNSC cease-fire accord..

He may not have liked the war plan, because it ignore many of his previous contingency plans for conducting such an operation... And I think Zinni had some good points..

But I also think he has completely ignored the advances that Islamists are making in the region. And I don't think he has factored in the demographic pressures that made waiting years to decades in order to create progressive change in the mid-east a far more dangerous prospect.
