Ack! Yes. Chiller Theater. I note from your link it began in 1973 and ran at 8:30pm. I somehow thought I was much younger than 13 when I watched it and it was on later. Then I viewed the video (http://www.dvddrive-in.com/Chiller/chiller.htm) of the hand coming up with the letters but forgot the part where the hand gathers them up one at a time and sinks back down. But I guess that's better memory retention than when I go upstairs to get something and forget why I'm there... so I suppose I should take some comfort in that (g). - Jeff Edit: OK, I see now that for a few years the show did run at 11:30pm or 12 midnight. I also see that Creature Features was Channel 5's similar offering.
