I agree with your comments.

We do need to keep some perspective. The Americans will receive due process and severe punishments. And it will all be done publicly.

Saddam killed hundreds of thousands with no process. Both Americans and Iraqis will note the difference.

Wouldn't it be nice if an Arab would protest the treatment of American and other allied prisoners who have been mistreated to death.

Wouldn't it be nice if an Arab leader would punish those who slaughter defenseless non-combatants and military alike and then mutilate their bodies and drag them through the streets after burning them.

War is brutal.
