don't think our government is representative of the people. we have a bunch of idiot politicians and shitloads of lazy socialists that have taken over the civil service. have you heard about the latest law they are planning to pass? if i tell my son that he is stupid for poking his sister in the eye with a fork, i can be charged with "mental cruelty". if a teacher tells a student that he/she is wrong, 1+1 is not equal to 3, the teacher can also be charged with psychological abuse of a child. these are just a couple of examples of nonsense which is taking place here. don't think for a minute that 99% of canadians condone this bullsh!t. with regards to guarding borders, Atta et al came through YOUR borders and welcomed into YOUR country with open arms by YOUR customs officials. more recently, terrorists have been coming in containers through YOUR ports. so before accusing Canada of slack border controls, you should take a good look at the inefficiency of YOUR own. the problem in both countries is that of political correctness bullsh!t. the laws implemented to protect honest people are being twisted and abused to benefit the scum. if customs officials screen too many Arabs, they are accused of racial Profiling, labelled racists and taken to Courts by POS organizations such as the ACLU. if they don't screen them properly they are then accused of slacking off. IMO, if muslims represent dangers to our society RIGHT NOW then it is only normal that they be scrutinized a little more closely than non-muslims.

Border control is not where the main emphasis should be. The emphasis should be on capturing and deporting those that are here illegally. Too many are going to get through our porous borders. And those that get caught at the border we just send them home and say "Try again tomorrow". Well if they keep trying, then they eventually get in. The trick is that when anyone enters the country illegally they should be imprisoned. The more times they get caught, then the longer the sentences need to be. Then you start to get border control because then people will stop trying to enter illegally. And those that get past the border are eventually caught, imprisoned and then deported when their sentences are up. The solution is simple. All we need is the will to carry through. All we need is to let our politicians know that we will not put up with the system we have now. Presently politicians know that the open border jerks and bleeding hearts will give them grief for real immigration control. It is time for real Americans to be stronger than the open border jerks.
