And I agree, the US isn't in Iraq for humanitarian reasons.

Then why do you conservatives keep on posting articles and making claims that it was for humanitarian reasons? You don't believe it; I don't believe it and I doubt that anyone on the UNSC believes it.

People everywhere will have to work through the Human Rights organizations, I guess.

If the US doesn't care, why should anyone else? Besides all we're doing is asking everyone to support Iraq. Screw Sudan.

People don't seem to be thankful that the US does come in to help militarily. So why should the US do so?

Kurds are pretty thankful; the Kuwaitis, at least were pretty thankful. But I don't recall the US setting up a Kurdish Governing Council or a Kuwaiti Governing Council. I don't recall the US sending any Bremer look alikes in to run either country. Is it possible that could be a significant difference?

I've looked pretty closely at the recent Iraq polls. It seems to me that the Iraqis are saying ... thank you very much, now get the hell out of my country.

Go back a few years to when the US/Britain encouraged the Shia to rise up against Saddam [with the promise of support]. They were slaughtered and we watched. In effect, we pushed them into the mass graves and then Saddam shot them. How much gratitude do you expect from the Shia?

Surely the anti-war folks will be able to provide some help. They seem to have all the answers. (no pun)

Another crock. This Administration from day one has made mistake after mistake and the only thing you can do is support every mistake.
