It doesn't matter that several of the active participants in governance of Saudi Arabia are more or less favorable to the United States.

It doesn't matter that Saudi Arabia is the site of the holiest sites in Islam, Mecca and Medina, and thus, an attack on Saudi Arabia would be tantamount to an attack on over a billion Muslims worldwide.

It doesn't matter that Saudi Arabia is defacto the strongest partner in OPEC, and that an attack on Saudi Arabia would mean suicide for the United States.

Do you honestly think that anybody who is urging the US to attack Saudi Arabia gives a rats ass about whether the US thereby commits suicide? Most of them - over 90% - don't even live in the US, they live in China, Latin America, India, Europe, and other places that see us as rivals.

Don't expect them to think in a way that has the best interests of the United States at heart. You can waste your time with this or not, whatever floats your boat.
