My post beats yours, the Czech intel chief saying the Atta story was bunk and perhaps planted by the Americans. I also reach that in Prague when I was there. We all know Cheney-Bush were pushing for anti-Saddam stories to connect him to 9-11. Clarke says that clearly. Here's a piece of possible evidence. The story is fabrication. The CIA is very good at that kind of thing. Disinformation is also a Cheney specialty.
