Many also admit they don't like Kerry or his policies, think he's an insincere liar (that's actually a plus for them when they disagree with Kerry's stated policies), etc etc. - but it doesn't matter - the Democrats are driven on pure hatred of Bush this election year. An ugly emotion. What are we gonna see at the Dem convention. Signs saying Bush = Hitler? More signs saying Barbara should have aborted Dubya? The professional manangers are gonna have to work hard behind the scenes to keep the outrageous stuff off the air so the party doesn't look ridiculous. The only good thing about it is the hate is alienating to normal people. Which will help Bush's re-election. Ordinary people are not going to understand what is behind this level of pure emotion driven hatred. I read it online and post to these people and I don't realy understand it. These people would like, if they could, to storm the WH and drag Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Wolfowitz, Rice, etc out and hack them to pieces or burn them on stakes. One thing I do know is I wouldn't trust these hate-filled fanatics to park my car much less run my country. Some more afterthoughts about this: I don't get the hatred - Bush is obviously a decent well-meaning person. Even if you don't like any of his policies that is true. Even if you think he was out of his depth running for President and trading on his Dad's name, it's true. Which BTW was my opinion back in 2000 (I didn't bother to vote for Pres in 2000! partly because of disinterest and lack of enthusiasm for anybody). But still where is the reason for hatred. Could it be the war in Iraq - they hated him before the war. They hated him before 911 - I remember KS/AS saying the exact same stuff in 2000 among others. Heck I think these people hated GWB BEFORE he was even elected President in 2000. It's puzzling.
