easy money has led to tremendous overexpansion in retail
around my area an unneeded Lowes home supply
and an unneeded Barney Noble bookstore
we got a Home Depot down the road under a mile away
we got a Borders Books less than a 1/4-mile away

I doubt WalMart overexpands
they are a smart well-run company
when I was at Staples, we had a guest speaker at our annual employee staff conference
some longstanding CFO
strong research, strong IT, strong leadership
if they expand, they kill competition like WinnDixie
and KMart, and Marshalls, and Ames, etc

easy money on loans
sign of times
in 2005-2006, big pullbacks coming
