How did the Apostles understand the Kingdom of God after Pentecost? Acts 8 "12": But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Here is Philip preaching the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus and people were being saved, filled with the Spirit and baptized. So it seems that Philip understood the Kingdom of God as forgiveness of sins, salvation in Christ and giving of the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ.
