Good question. I was actually wondering how the entity could even end run the ownership issue this way and remain a beneficial trust. It sure hurt Provident a while back. I was kinda hoping for some buying opportunities :o) Some homework is in order. Edit I never looked into how the Pengrowth situation worked out.

EDIT : Now I'm wondering what the rationale would be for trading at a discount ? Would not distributions need to be equivalent. If so why a unit value discount ?
