but this is an unnecessary "unfriendly" move which won't save much. The cut to 250,000 will be a total cut of 410,000 since Germany began this madness. We made the same mistake of over-cutting our ability to defend ourselves. History repeats itself over and over. Germany will regret this sooner or later. America has carried the costs of defending Western Europe for far too long. It is time for us to pull out of wealthy West European countries that refuse to commit to their own defense.
