Zell Miller is either senile or going nuts. Take your pick.
Any Democrat who calls Clinton a "far leftist" has lost his marbles. Clinton is and was a centrist Democrat who won the south. Miller has become, in effect, a deluded rightwing Republican. In his younger days he backed segregationists and sounds like he does once again. Old people often get nostalgic for the far past. It's typical.

Miller's statement that he will back Bush "no matter what" is also nutty. What if Bush were found to be guilty of a high crime worthy of impeachment? Miller would still back him? That's absurd. Miller is retiring soon. Good riddance. Right to the nursing home.
