There is more than one definition. So, it depends. If you define it as the entity that you believe will make your life work out or that which you are devoted to above all else, then it could be: money, the Mets baseball team, beer, your occupation, etc. If you define it as the entity that is the All Powerful, All Knowing being that is the Alpha and Omega of existence, then yeeahh there can be only one.

Are you Jewish, Muslim, Christian? Then there's only one. (There is that "trinity" thing, though......)

But if you are Hindu or ancient Greek or Roman, there's more than one.

And if you're atheist, there's none.
