WASHINGTON (AFP) - US Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) said in remarks published that he would seriously consider former treasury secretary Robert Rubin to replace Federal Reserve (news - web sites) Chairman Alan Greenspan (news - web sites) when he retires.

"I'd certainly look to somebody like a Bob Rubin," Kerry told The Wall Street Journal in an interview.
