Here are three sites, that show the effects of Saddam's gassing of his own citizens in 1988 and some of the reports in 1998....

This is not new news. It happened in 1988. And what did the Bush Administration do about it? They blamed Iran. Q.E.D. I've got no problem putting Saddam on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity for this incident and I would have no problem if Bush Sr. was taking the seat next to him.

Caution: Both sites have pictures that are most gruesome.

Would the pictures have been less gruesome if the victims were the result of Daisy Cutters and Cluster bombs? Do you find the blown off appendage of a child more gruesome than the blown off appendage of an adult?

On the positive side of chemical weapons....they don't destroy the infrastructure. No rebuilding required.

Which explains why the civilized international community rushed into Rwanda and is rushing into Sudan.
