Grant Hibbard, Kerry's commanding officer, questioned the injury after Kerry first put in for the medal. Now 69 and living in Florida, Hibbard recently told reporters for the Boston Globe and USA Today that Kerry had only "a scratch" on his forearm and that Hibbard had no evidence that Kerry was under enemy fire when he was injured. In an interview with The Post, Hibbard stood by his remarks but declined to elaborate on them.

that's only because you believe the polls you post. for example the latimes poll in ca. or the nytimes poll know to favor more democrats in the polls they take. do not hold your breath waiting for Kerry to be the next president.

did you know 23% of the folks who work in Washington D. C. are lawyers? just read it in Philly mag. Why so many of you guys in the d. c. area. no wonder we get anything changed done in Washington.. did you know Kerry spent his whole life in Washington? We need an outsider in Washington like Bush.
