Kerry seems to be in the same place as Bush re: Iraq going forward. There's nothing but more dying to be done over there. Kerry, of all people, should get that. If the Iraqis want to have a bloody civil war, divide into three countries, set up an Islamic state, or just sit down together and work it out, it's their country! We should restrict ourselves to keeping other interested parties out of it, and get out. Aren't we supposedly for the SELF-determination of peoples?

Bush has bet his Presidency on Iraq. Kerry should take the bet, flip-flop and raise him. It might cost him a little short term, but do you think situation in Iraq is going to improve?

I have more hope Kerry will have an epiphany and flip-flop than I do that Bush will.
