Oh, I see, you believe that the sexual abuse of prisoners is a natural and inevitable side-effect of the war in Iraq. It's not "you" who would sexually abuse prisoners, e.g., the man who is opposed to the war, it's "them," the soldiers who fight the war.

Just to clarify your thought, did British soldiers sexually abuse prisoners during WWII and/or the war in Kosovo? And if so, was that inevitable?

In other words, is it only during wars that you disapprove of that this type of thing is inevitable?

But hang on PB, you said all factions are the same. So of course your faction would rape pillage and plunder too. Which means you would. I try to keep my viewpoint balanced but keep coming up against barbarian criminals who seem to be quite different factions from Libertarians.

If the evidence doesn't fit my "all factions are the same" theory, should I just keep looking for new evidence, use Alice in Wonderland language or go with Karl Popper and acccept that my theory has been falsified?

It is a fact that all factions are NOT the same. All individuals are different. Some are like chimpanzees and couldn't write a single paragraph on ethics, morals and how to get along. Some factions and individuals are outright malevolent thieving thugs who need extermination or a cage - we good guys certainly don't want their gene pool and meme swamp replicated in their children and grandchildren [yes, I'm in favour of eugenics, as is everyone else who didn't use a random number generator to choose their children's other parent].
