JotW,

Re: The Iraqi people have been at the mercy of a heinously criminal regime for decades and their cultural world perspective has been tainted as a result.

Through the wonderful medium of the Internet, the world's media is at our fingertips. We can look at the panoply of opinion from Amsterdam to Ache and from Zug to Zimbabwe.

One thing is pretty obvious. Lots of people across the planet are convinced that the American people have been at the mercy of a heinous criminal regime for decades.

That regime, a loosely organized cabal of corporate, military and governmental elites has been engaged in a corrupt regime of self-enrichment and disinformation for decades.

They've been so good at their game that most Americans are brainwashed into thinking their role in life is to be consumers rather than citizens. And that the corporations are trying to be patriotic. The truth is becoming more and more obvious that this is not the case.

You are probably aware of the CNN series on "Exporting America"

cnn.com

This is a pretty chilling reminder that the interests of the citizens of the U.S. and that of the corporations domiciled here are not in alignment.
