Albert, I think it's just more nonsense from right-wingers trying to keep Kerry on the defensive, as the wing nuts don't have a dog who can hunt. Why not start a criminal investigation of how all military medals are awarded. I got some I didn't deserve and didn't get some I did deserve and was forced to wear some that were so silly they made me laugh (The National Defense Medal, in particular, which was basically awarded for being in the service and not being in prison). And, along with all the letters of commendation and foreign kudos and all that crap I and other DOD civilians received, they have long ago gone to a landfill. So, basically, the military folks who did that sort of thing for a living at the time believe Kerry earned his medals, as does the guy whose life he saved and the great majority of sailors he led. But you think he should have to offer more proof and then five notarized statements that he is a mammal and deny the pictures of him with farm animals you guys will soon be talking about on Hate Radio. As soon as your guy can prove he even showed up, then, that he ever did anything, and that he wasn't awarded his place in the draft dodgers brigade through political pressure, and that he isn't a total wimp who believes in Yugo to war, not me, then we can start counting the number of angels who can dance on Kerry's medal pins.
