I don't know of anyone else running for public office who has made an issue out of their service to the country and their medals. The fire fight stops when the enemy lowers their weapon and runs and hides. This is the story which has been told. I don't know whether it is true. That is why I would like to see the supporting documents........ People who have connections sometimes are awarded medals for who they are, not what they have done. So yes, I am suspect, but the supporting documents could very easily clear the air.
