Iraqis are not terrorists. They never were. Iraqis are people who are being oppressed, tortured and murdered by an occupying invading force. So if those kind of human right abuses are going on in Iraq by an occupying force, a country that was not even remotely connected to the Sep 11 terrorists (and even Bush admitted that), then if those are the kind of things we are doing to them, what can we possibly be doing to prisoners in Guantanamo and Afghanistan? I guess I know your answer. What you don't know won't hurt you, right? Unfortunately, when you don't learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it:

The U.S. "liberation" of Iraq is going even worse than the Soviet "liberation" of Afghanistan. U.S. forces in Iraq, particularly marines, are employing the same brutal overkill that turned Afghans against the Russians. Such is the nature of colonial wars.
