Hi Yogi,
This obviously disturbs you more than it does me. What would you propose considering the American (and Canadian for that matter) consumer is choosing his own path in this ? No one puts a gun to J6P or Johnny24's (twofour not twenty four) head to force them to buy WalMart or Sam's Club... Personally I rarely shop at Walmart except for toys at Christmas maybe but that's me.

government "mandarins".. but who elects these Dowager types ;o)

"unified cultural system" no not now but I doubt that the founders of your country anticipated that the faucet providing immigrants of similar ilk would dry up and be replaced with hispanic, asian and black to such an extent... certainly not black in the context of the times.. in 1803 though I sure gotta believe "unified cultural system" was their intent..

ON a lighter note.. I got some LED garden lamps that run on battery and recharge via solar cells. I didn't realize they were LED's until I flashed myself in the eye... instructions ? what instructions.. Damn things are like lasers when focused dead on.. They work great as path markers and for accenting although can't compete with the low voltage Moonray type for throwing off light. I tried them in the front yard and then thought better of it.. and moved them to the back ... a little too good looking, self contained and portable too be tempting some folks ....

regards
Kastel
