Thanks Phil, I note you copied it about five times for me.

In fact, I took the heading and searched in Google and was eventually able to download it myself.

I'm sure there will will be ups and downs in China and maybe a few downs won't be so bad as they suggest. Maybe for the US and its tidal wave of debt and its cheap imports which keep down the notion of inflation, but perhaps not so bad for others. Who knows?

I'm sorry to hear that if you own some because those shares are extremely speculative. Many don't even own a mine, frequently no more than an office somewhere, if that. I remember reading that, in the last speculative market, some IT companies which couldn't keep afloat, called themselves "exploration companies" and found excellent shareholder support. As you may have heard me say before, the only connection to "gold" than some of these companies have is in the name of a director. Others are not even so fortunate.

Phil, as you know, Greenspan has held interest rates although warning they will rise.

He's trying to talk the market down without putting up the rates but the market seems like it's going to call his bluff or at least challenge him to do it. In fact, the gold shares and REITs anticipated that he wouldn't tighten and are moving upward. Perhaps, more accurately, they are no longer falling. I showed the gold charts yesterday.

Likewise bonds.

So, it's possible there could be a good run for the next few months.
