He is a demohack in my opinion, but not typical in that he does seem smart. But he uses it to confuse and obfusicate. Been talking with him for months on tax policy, and I'll have to admit, I have no idea now what his position is.

I think he wants a flat 10% tax rate with exemptions for poor people. Wouldn't work and nobody will go for it, but sounds pretty good.
