Check the news on Nortel. They had an accounting blow up last week and will restate 2003 earnings down, fired their CEO (among others), and don't know yet when they can release the 1Q 04 earnings.

Seems like Nortel always bounces back from bad news much quicker than Lucent.

And here I am holding some of those old shares of Agere only to see them sinking once again. Thought maybe after that two year wait to get out of some of the restrictions put on the company following the spin-off would maybe improve things. Prudential Equity Group said that Agere is at risk because of high inventories according to a Forbes.com story posted Thursday.

Prudential said semiconductor companies like Agere are vulnerable because they supply telecommunications and networking customers that have limited market visibility now.

Posted the comments concerning Agere here on the Lucent thread because there is no Agere thread.

I should have gotten rid of my Agere back in the beginning of the year.
