< I can't think of one of those who wouldn't fight for America, to protect their families, their property, and their homeland. >

Count me in too. The problem is deciding exactly who it is that needs fighting. I'm already paying a lot of taxes to help and the USA isn't even my homeland, though it does protect some property of mine.

I think the USA does a reasonable job though it could be a lot better. They should forget the draft, which is a really, really stupid idea, which has no relationship to the vaunted freedom which is being defended. Instead, treble soldiers' pay rates and upgrade the soldiers to seriously talented people, strong on ethics as well as killing skills.

But the PNAC is biting off more than they can chew. Nukes, aircraft carriers and fancy fighter aircraft are good for big bangs, but not so great for up close and personal power establishment and policing. The USA needs to be part of a NUN.
