Something I have noticed is that more popular Presidential tickets have a President than is very personable and a Vice President that does well in the role of statistician. This can be seen with Reagan/Bush, Clinton/Gore and Bush/Cheney. Kerry's just a mess. His background is very offensive to many Americans. He appears aloof and detached showing absolutely no personal magnetism. Then there is his rhetoric that seems disingenuous and flip-flops all other the place. I'm really looking forward to see who he picks as a running mate, but regardless of who he picks, I believe Democrats have a real dud on their hands.
