the bearish consensus in this market is absolutely breath-taking. apart from the over 99% bearish consensus in Ryde bond funds, we have now THIS picture in the 10-yr. note futures:

i conclude that economic reports from here on out are going to be surprisingly WEAK, and it even seems likely that some sort of financial crisis will develop soon ( housing bubble popping? China? ) .
in any event, i have NEVER come across a bearish consensus that widespread and deep. deflation anyone? when an entire market leans ONE way, that market is almost certain to go the other way.
