According to this poll, 59% of Americans think torture is okay (for people from other countries). Two others I've read indicate anywhere from 33% to 44% find it acceptable - as long as Americans aren't victims.

I don't believe that either. That is not how you interrogate someone, by humiliation and that kind fo torture.

If someone orders you to kill a civilian, or torture them, you refuse. They have to go by the Geneva Convention wherever they are.

Also - they have to have the guts to refuse an order (I still don't believe they were ordered to do any of this though - that is nonsense.)
