I was suspicious of some of the pix. The fact that propagandists tried to insert these photos into the controversy doesn't mean that all the photos were fake. It was not hard to see which were real and which weren't. The perpetrator of the hoax photos is likely to be a Muslim sympathizer but I would not put it past war supporters either. There is no way to tell, and misguided souls on either side could find justification for the hoax. If you look you'll see I'm not on a witch hunt. The torture that our troops inflicted on our prisoners was to be expected in an environment of revenge and the cycle of revenge. That's what this war is all about. Revenge and the cycle of revenge that goes back decades and maybe centuries. We will continue to have these problems just like drug addicts who cannot admit they have some responsibilty for their situation. When we admit our part in these problems we will begin to be able to find real solutions. Until we admit our part we will be in denial and nothing will change. People will die and suffer and some will want revenge.
