Another aspect of Oslo the PA ignored was a commitment to end the rhetoric of hate and to stop educating children to hate jews (not just Israelis, something the rest of the Arab does too), neither of which occured. As long as the PA maintains a Hitlerian culture of breeding or brainwashing hate in their children and within the rest of their society peace is going to stay a long way off.

But at the end of the day, I'm hard pressed to believe the PA leadership (plus hamas and the rest) is interested in living peaceably next door to a jewish society. All the while during Oslo, while Arafat might have talked peace and reconciliation with western media, out of its view he wore a patch on his arm with a map of Palestine, as if Israel was no more.
