yup, I think that's what bill gross from pimco was saying. That the all evidence suggests that there is price inflation.

But I do think that the fed has its hands tied. If they raise rates, that is gonna slow down the meager growth that we have.

Glad to see you didn't bail on YHOO, as I still have my core position there, along with old friend AMZN. Nothing that happened today changed my mind one bit. Just wished I had been collecting shorts like you have over the past few weeks - Aside from some quickie trades in the biotechs, I've been sitting on my hands in that department for so long now they're almost numb, but I really like the set-up here and will start hitting 'em soon, hopefully tomorrow.

How are you doing with the PMs? Yesterday I picked up some PAAS and NTO which is the good news considering today's bounce, but I still have my other positions from last month which remain a bit underwater. I've tried to educate myself about this sector by reading a boatload of professional and amateur opinions, and surprise, surprise, just about everyone has their own take on it and there is nothing close to a consensus. So I'll continue to keep at least a small basket on hand and wait to se how the crapshoot turns out!
