Seems like only the older 'patrician' part of the country likes dynasties.... (But then, weren't there ALWAYS large numbers of Tory voters there, who could be counted-on to support Kingly aspirations?)

Nah, maybe it's just me --- afterall, Louisiana had Huey Long, South Carolina had Strom Thurmond, etc.
