Voter fraud may be replaced by manipulation of vote tallies or vote records through bad software and other methods to fix the new electronic machines. This is especially worrisome as the two main companies making voting machines, ESS and Diebold, are each run by strong right wingers.

Doren, Could you imagine how we would have laughed if some small country, trying democracy for the first time, had had a close election decided by shady balloting in a state controlled by the brother of one of the candidates? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, the way to bet is that it was a duck.
