Here's a few questions I'd like to see asked of each of
the journalists who are now falling all over themselves to
report about the prison abuse scandal (on a global
scale).....

All the questions you ask w02, are totally in order and should be asked, AND answered. AND reported on....

In the "old days" we used to use 'column inches' as a measurement. Today, for some of those questions we could use a microruler to gauge the actual number of microinches...

VERSUS yards and miles ....

Maybe all of us who care, could start emailing the reporters using their email addys that are at the bottom of their opinion pieces.

It's inevitable that the abuse of prisoners story gets more press than all the good that the US has done, and for good reason.

All the good in the world could not whitewash a criminal act that went unpunished. If the greatest philanthropist the world has ever known, or the most brilliant genius the world has never known, sodomised a prisoner with a broom, and got away with it, you would not be able to look the other way, and you know it. One bad act wipes out a lifetime of good.
