Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel had A LITTLE BLURB on it on PAGE 6 of the newspaper. The bias of the media is sure evident now. When 200 former shipmates of all levels and all political parties unite on one theme, UNFIT to be COMMANDER IN CHIEF and the NEWS MEDIA ignores it one has to realize the NEWS MEDIA is NOT NEWS merely a political arm of the left. I think I will cancell my paper, its expensive and not of any value anymore. I can learn more NEWS on the internet. jdn

A friend of mine received a purple heart for running into a tent pole in a drunken stupor....he accepted the medal because he had been wounded previously in a legit manner and had not "applied" for recognition in that instance.

Famed marine sniper, Carlos Hathcock turned down medals after tossing several wounded comrades out of a burning armored vehicle....Even though he saved many lives and was severely burned over the bulk of his body all he had done was something that "any other marine would have done in his place".

It is fairly safe to conclude that political ambition did not affect everyone that served.
