I'm glad to see Barnes addressed this nonsense. The article also confirms that AS is on the distribution list for the DNC weekly whining points. No wonder Kerry says things like "I'm not going to stand for it", even when it is inappropriate in the context or content of the interview. The "attacks" on patriotism/military service are all in their heads. The truth is that they can't defend Kerry's anti-war hijinks and must instead deflect attention from his unconscionable behavior by alleging "smears." Too bad some folks are too stupid to see such hyper-spin for what it is. As I've said all along, Kerry was a fool to focus the election on his Vietnam service. It opened the door to, not only questions about his anti-war activities, but his conduct during the war. If you want to be thought of as a hero, people want to know what heroic acts you performed. Doh!
