But to make it stick you have to demonstrate that Mr. Shays is a towering genius. Who care about what Shays is, or isn't?? What's important is what Blix told him... Blix was the guy in charge of the UNMOVIC inspection effort. If he was convinced that Saddam still likely retained WMDs, and certainly was convinced that Saddam was continuing WMD research (which, in fact, we discovered he was), who cares who the messenger of Blix's message is? What you have to ask is why he told Shays all of this in private, including how Saddam was under the false impression that Bush was bluffing and that France, Germany, and Russia would prevent him from invading, but said nothing in public about this subversion of the UNSC for their parochial oil interests? Why aren't you outraged that France, Germany, and Russia subverted the enforcement of UNSC binding resolutions against Iraq? Why aren't you outraged by the incredible fraud and graft that was perpetrated by them through the Oil for Food program?? Hawk
