The political freedom is what creates the economic value. There isn't less competition in the USA, there's a higher opportunity cost for employment, meaning people who would get very little pay for the same job in China, get a lot of pay in the USA. A rich country with political freedom pays people a lot, no matter what job they have. Mqurice
