I haven't tried , of course. But if you want an idea on the subject: The neocons, the religious right, and the just plain stupid have been conditioned in ways that lead right to the torture that has been so foolishly administered in Iraq. A prime conditioner is Rush Limbaugh. Disgust and humiliation are packaged as if they were humor. The witless snicker about the latest insults to liberals, iraqis, queers, or whoever isn't standing around the cooler with them. Humilation and disreguard for humanity as entertainment! How sick is that?? I bet you find that these guards, who's pictures were recently removed from their hometown Walmart's wall of honor, were the type to praise Bush and tune into Limbaugh. You know the type, the kind that praises JLAllen one line illustrations of mental illness as some form of humor. They are here on SI, they are at Abu Ghraib, and they are in the White House. That is why such abuse went on without notice and without comment until it intruded upon a reelection campaign. I bet you find the whistleblower wasn't tuned into personal destruction as a spectator sport. TP
