Okay I take it back... In the middle ages and ever since people have been racist toward jews. Sure there were reasons, but how are they valid in countering this hatred. Jews are accused of killing Jesus, there you have a reason for hating them. Jews were accused of bringing on the plague in Europe, thats a reason too. Economic calamity has been blamed on them too. But so what? There's never a shortage of reasons to hate jews. A jewish kid living in Berlin who gets his front teeth knocked out, I guess, should understand that there are reasons for his plight? He should know that he will be able to counter the hate directed toward him by understanding the reasons for it... And so what will he do? I mean if he opposed what Israel is doing in the Middle East would that have stopped his attackers? By the way, who is saying "Good, good Israel." Is that sarcasm? Is there not much that is good about Israel. While not discounting what is bad about Israel, tell me what is good about Israel's Arab neighbors then that you think here in the west we should emulate. Arab tolerance toward women perhaps, totalitarianism, sharia law, the treatment of Jewish people living amongst them... oh I'm sorry they've all been run out of those countries. I'm curious, while Israel represents much (or all) that is bad in the Middle East to you, please, as a counter, provide me with examples of what is good in the Arab world, things we should emulate here in the west. I'm curious to know. If Israel is baaad, what have Arab nations that is good. Tell me what aspect of Arab nationhood, anywhere, stands out as exemplary to you?
