For Bush to apologize, he'd have to have some character. Why would he grow some now, after 3 1/2 years (make that a lifetime) of lacking? Besides, if he starts apologizing for all mistakes under his leadership, he'd have to be apologizing 24 hours a day. He would not have time to govern. Hey, wait, hmm, I guess that would be a good thing, for America and for the world...
