What's the relationship between lack of sports (including PE) and obesity? That has been one discussion which hasn't taken place in the long overdue concern about obesity. (Disclaimer- a prejudice of mine,since way too many friends have blown out their backs moving these people around in hospitals).
When I was in school, 4 full years of PE were required. If you were on a team, so much the better. Now, at the high school where my kids graduated/ currently attend, the requirement is 4 semesters of PE, and each team you participate on counts as a semester.
Not enuf physical activity, more time to Ninetendo out.
