Frankly i dont think what happened in 1968 is worth looking at for a Presidential candidate today unless it is eggregious. To me some vets love the guy and some hate him and most anti-kerry sentiment is for your reason of his post-war activities. Vietnam continues to be a quagmire in our own political system. We all thought we were right back then. Most of us are less sure now. But most agree that if we go to war we shouldnt fight a war with one hand tied behind our backs, nor should we be less than honest with our citizens. mike
