That's an interesting series of comments... You state: The Kerry smear campaign is not real news. However, if the story was changed to Bush being AWOL, you would claim just the opposite. Sorry, but that is not real impressive. You state: you give much coverage to those liars you only encourage more slander and character assassination campaigns. Are you referring to O'Neill or the Democrat primaries in 2003? You state: The mainstream press (other than Fox News) usually waits for proof by independent sources. Quite an allegation. Do you have proof? I won't hold my breath waiting for it. :) You finish with: Those anti-Kerry vets are not independent by any stretch of the imagination. They're all connected to the Bush-Cheney campaign, at least indirectly. You claim that by any stretch of the imagination that these vets are not independent. Yet in the next sentence you back away from your prior zeal by claiming a connection to Bush-Cheney; well at least indirectly. Which is it? Ironically, I suppose you could say that I was connected to Bush-Cheney, at least indirectly, because I voted for them in 2000. Not a very convincing argument. Then again, your method of operation is to perpetuate untruths by repeating them over and over again. Well, I for one, do not buy your arguments. Diz-

Kerry is running on his VIETNAM experience, HE brought it up NOT BUSH. That being the case the public DESERVES to know THE TRUTH about Kerry in Vietnam. Those that read my postings know that I as a former Vietnam vet questioned his story JUST ON THE FACE OF IT, long ago. NOW it seems people that KNEW HIM, OBSERVED HIM and served OVER AND UNDER HIM and DO know the truth have told us something very akin to what I suspected myself. So, I am NOT SURPRISED and I certainly do NOT consider it a smear campaign for his contemporaries to TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH. Kerry is UNFIT TO COMMAND. I suspected it, know I KNOW IT. jdn
