Purple Hearts are for ANY wounds, not just major wounds. But the GOP attacks triple-amputee Max Cleland in exactly this same way. Creeps like dykee Anne Coulter have claimed "Cleland was no hero" despite losing three limbs", trying to make fun of him. The same thing they did to McCain in 2000 calling him "insane" and that he was a rat in North Vietnam when a POW there. This is the very same bunch of chickenhawk A-holes slandering all three war heros, and you should be ashamed for sticking up for them. Yes, O'Neill is a fraud too, a long-time political attack operative for the rightwing ever since Nixon days. Also, don't forget who's fought all his career for vets while Bush has slashed their medical benefits. John Kerry, Max Cleland and John McCain. That's also big piece of proof that these partisan A=holes are phony. If they were really independent vets they'd be grateful as hell for these three heros, but involved in slandering them.
